Job Description

Field Service Engineering Manager

The Field Service Engineering Manager will be responsible for managing a Field Engineering Group, dedicated to keeping this company’s equipment running in top condition nationwide. This person will also be in charge of troubleshooting manufacturing processes and creating cost effective processes and procedures in compliance with quality and product specifications. The Field Service Group installs, updates, rebuilds and modernizes production equipment and controls, and improves manufacturing methods.


  • Manage a team of engineers and technicians on multiple projects.
  • Research, design, and develop manufacturing processes such as assembly processes, production, and production equipment
  • The Field Service Engineer Manager will manage the launch of new products by determining the proper production equipment to be used, installing or retrofitting equipment, setting goals, and training employees on the use of the equipment, using proper manufacturing methods.
  • Source, implement, and test machinery and different types of tooling.
  • Troubleshoot equipment problems and determine equipment maintenance.
  • Conduct product and process analysis for increased efficiency, quality improvement, and cost reduction.

Job Requirements


  • Bachelor’s degree is required and an engineering degree is preferred.
  • 5+ years’ experience in a manufacturing environment, troubleshooting and solving equipment problems.
  • Must be able to manage and schedule engineers.
  • Must be able to manage multiple projects at multiple facilities.
  • Capable of planning ahead at least 3-6 months out.


Base Pay $90,000.00 - $135,000.00 /Year
