The role of the Maintenance Technician is to maintain mechanical and electrical systems and install new systems without supervision in order to improve safety, productivity, and quality.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensures operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements on mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and Hydraulic systems.
  • Follow diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specifications; troubleshooting malfunctions.
  • Locates sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation; listening for problems; using precision measuring and testing instruments.
  • PLC troubleshooting and minor ladder logic changes.
  • Works with vendors, consultants, and engineers to troubleshoot and repair electrical and control related issues.

Communicates with operators to assist with solutions or repair of equipment

Job Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Multi-craft experience; Mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic.
  • PLC Troubleshooting experience
  •  At least 5 years of experience in an manufacturing environment
  • High school/GED or Trade school in machines
  •  Problem solver and team oriented.
  • Able to work with people, strong work ethic, must be capable of multi-tasking in a fast paced environment, strong communication skills.
  • Basic mathematical skills, addition, subtraction, multiplication and converting fractions into decimals. Must be able to use and read a tape measure, caliper, and micrometer, dial bore gauge, and various other precision measurement equipment.

Base Pay $46,000.00 - $62,000.00 /Year
