Requirements for the VP of Sales include:

  • BA / BS degree required, MBA preferred
  • 10+ years' experience working in a mid-size Manufacturing organization and playing a key role in increasing sales and developing new market
  • Job Shop / Secondary Operations 
  • Excellent Communication and Leadership skills along with a Driven, Assertive, Confident demeanor
  • Proven record of mentoring and developing a sales team

 

 

Required travel 25% or more.

My Wisconsin-based client is looking for a VP of Sales and Marketing to drive sales and lead the sales & marketing efforts.  The company is in a period of growth and looking for an experienced Sales & Marketing professional who will impact the entire organization. 

The company is about an hour from Milwaukee, WI.  It is a custom and contract manufacturing operation with unique capabilities.

This candidate we hire will be an experienced go-getter, confident and passionate about his/her product line.  He she must be a strong leader and mentor with an infectious personality.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Develop strategic  sales and marketing plans
  • Lead the sales and marketing teams to achieve aggressive goals
  • Grow business organically
  • Identify and pursue new markets
  • Work with senior management team to grow the business significantly
  • Hire and train key individuals
  • Provide expertise to sales and marketing team and to company executives
  • Working directly with customers, providing valuable input as to manufacturability of products

Requirements Include:

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in Sales & Marketing, leading team and driving sales
  • Experience working in organization with sales in excess of $50MM AND playing a key role in increasing sales significantly
  • Proven record of significantly improving sales
  • Proven record of developing a sales team
  • Go-getter personality and attitude

 

The hiring company is a well-established manufacturing company with a strong senior management team and an aggressive business plan.  Candidates will be given a pre-employment drug screen and background check.

Pay range is dependent on skill level of individual who is hired.  Base salary will be in excess of $100K.

 

Required travel 25% or more.  When not on the road visiting customers, the VP of Sales & Marketing will be in the plant, north of Milwaukee.
