Structural Engineering Manager

Are you a Structural or Civil Engineer with a PE license who has experience managing an engineering group? Do you have experience with BIM and CAD in structural building applications and a formal education in Structural or Civil Engineering? Would you like to be a hands-on manager of a team who is developing concepts, creating drawings and doing structural calculations?  If you can also lead projects and talk with clients, you could be a great fit for this General Manager position!

Job Requirements


  • Manage and train engineers and engineering technicians.
  • Concept to completion responsibility.
  • Engineering analysis and structural calculations.
  • Design detailed 3D drawings per client specifications.
  • Provide assistance to department staff to solve project challenges and deadlines to the client's satisfaction.
  • Review shop drawings to and calculations to certify documents with Engineer's seal.
  • Maintain relationships with the company's clients and customers.
  • Establish yearly budget and reports monthly progress for division.



  • BS in Civil or Structural Engineering
  • Must have Professional Engineer certification (P.E) and a minimum of 3 years' experience after P.E certification was obtained.
  • Experience doing structural calculations (statics and load)
  • AutoCAD/3D software and proficient in Revit CAD/BIM software.
  • Experience with structural design software (STAAD, STRAP, Visual Analysis, etc).
  • 8+ years' experience in leading structural projects and departmental management experience.
