Electrical Controls Engineer

Manufacturing and Assembly Company, which happens to have one of the best cultures I've seen, is looking for an Electrical Controls Engineer for their facility in the Lincoln, Nebraska area.  The Electrical Controls Engineer serves as the key electrical and robotic resource in the company and is responsible for maintaining and establishing processes as well as programming and troubleshooting PLCs and Robotic Equipment.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Must be able to program PLCs and Robotic equipment.  (Allen Bradley, Rockwell Automation PLCs, Fanuc Robots)
  • Design, develop and maintain electrical control systems
  • Read and understand electrical schematics and wiring diagrams
  • Develop systems as required to meet customer demand
  • Provide electrical and robotic technical support throughout operation
  • Troubleshoot equipment and process problems
  • Coordinate training for Technicians

The ideal Controls Engineer candidate will have a BSEE, but qualified candidates without the BSEE will be considered.
