Summary

Our client has been an industry leader in packaging more than 50 years. They are looking to add an experienced Manufacturing Engineer to their team who can hit the ground running. A troubleshooting mindset and desire to seek the solutions to problems is a highly desirable trait.

 

Job Duties include:

 

  • Evaluates manufacturing processes by designing and conducting research programs; applying knowledge of product design, fabrication, assembly, tooling, and materials; conferring with equipment vendors; soliciting observations from operators.
  • Improves manufacturing efficiency by analyzing and planning work flow, space requirements, and equipment layout.
  • Prepares product and process reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
  • Provides manufacturing engineering information by answering questions and requests.
  • Maintains product and company reputation by complying with government regulations.
  • Completes design and development projects by training and guiding technicians.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
  • Technical experience in plastics, post molding technologies or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • RJG Training
  • Experience with Stack Molds and Sequential Valve Gating (SVG)
  • Exposure to SMED highly preferred
