Commercial Drywall Estimator
Point One
PointOne Recruiting’s construction team has partnered with a historical and reputable commercial interior construction company in search of Estimator(s) to add to their team. Locations include Orlando and/or Tampa, FL and Fairfield, NJ and are a commercial walls & framing contractor (metal framing, drywall & acoustical ceiling) established in the mid 1980’s.
The ideal candidate will possess:
* Commercial interior estimating experience, including metal framing drywall & acoustic ceilings
* Project size experience from $200K to $5M
* Software experience with On Screen Take Off, Quick Bid or similar
* Organized, detail oriented, gets along with others
* Ability to read and interpret Blueprints
* Effective communication skills with general contractors, vendors and colleagues
* Occasional ability to travel to local job sites and complete pre construction job walks
* Ability to perform detailed take-off of plans for steel framing, drywall and acoustical ceilings
* Must be efficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, Word and PDF reader
* Ability to generate detailed proposals with cost and description of service
