For over 60 years our client has become the Mechanical Leader within the HVAC, Piping, Plumbing, Sheet Metal, Building Automation and Controls. With the expansion of their company, they are searching for Electrical Engineer for their Manufacturing Division within Construction

Job Description for Electrical Engineer PE:

• Identify the scope of projects assigned, project design criteria appropriate codes, location and specification.
• Prepare calculations and reports for use of permitting and project reviews.
• Train estimating team in design practices for electrical scopes.
• Work with Manufacturing partners for equipment/materials pricing and updates.
• Guide the layout and coordination of electrical equipment, conduit routing and bus ways.
• Help with training the Electrical Engineering team and staff.

Job Requirements for Electrical Engineer PE:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
• PE License with current NCEES record, or ability to obtain.
• 5+ years of experience with electrical engineering in construction.
• Experience with simulation software EZ power or SKM.
• Experience with bid permitting, estimating and bid tabulation.
• Knowledge of CAD and ability to design in 3D workspace.
