The Project Manager is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, implementation, control, and completion of specific projects – ensuring results that are consistent with company strategy, commitments, and goals. There is an informational reporting relationship with: the Finance Manager, Engineering Manager, Plant Manager and Installation Manager.
Responsibilities include:
- Respond to clients’ needs in a timely manner, phone calls and emails returned same day.
- Actively seek information from the project team and communicate necessary information to engineering and production.
- Maintain and update the job level folders keeping clear folder structures that makes sure that the latest information is easily searchable and accessible.
- Drive and Lead All Design and Production Engineering handoffs ensuring that we are working on the right rooms in the right order.
- Acquire and submit all necessary samples ensuring timely approval.
- Consistently monitor and report project progress for project, budget, schedule challenges and solutions.
- Ensure that all submittal drawings meet the expectation of the client before sending
- Proactively monitor project budget.
- Proactively monitor assigned projects for change orders.
- Complete estimating/scope take offs and work with Sr. Mgmt. and Client to get approval on change order strategy and amounts.
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Is a highly organized person who can monitor multiple projects at once and who can prioritize the workload of craftsmen laborers, subcontractors, and installation crews
- Ability to define problems, interpret data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions that represent the company’s interests
- Maintain a willingness to engage in tasks/challenges beyond stated responsibilities.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work under pressure in a consistent and positive manner.
- Collaborator able to work in cooperation with others.
- Operates as an owner and takes accountability for results.
- Excellent oral, written communication skills.
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions provided via phone, email or through architectural plans.
- Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community
- Proficient in the use of Excel, Word, Outlook and other Office Suite software packages as deemed necessary.
- Ability to learn ERP systems or other CRM type software. Innergy experience is a major plus
- Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Communicator who can communicate thorough and up-to-date project information to both the client and the company
- Desires to be a solution provider and the main point of contact on a project
- Tech savvy
- Organized, persistent and driven
Compensation offered:
- Competitive base salary depending upon experience, $80,000 to $95,000
- Medical and dental insurance, plus 401K with company match, PTO, paid holidays
- Relocation assistance available for out of town/state candidates
