The Project Manager reports directly to and is fully accountable to the Operations Manager. There is an informational reporting relationship with: the Finance Manager, Engineering Manager, Plant Manager and Installation Manager. The Project Manager has no direct reports but does have an informational reporting responsibility to compile data from the plant and field installation on projects. The project manager is responsible for the overall success and profitability of all assigned jobs.

About 20% of the time will be spent in the field monitoring individual projects, making job walks, and making proactive outbound follow up calls to contractors. The remaining time will be spent in an air-conditioned smoke free office. The normal workday is from 7:30 am to 4:30 pm with 1 hour for lunch and 2/15 minute breaks. However, the hours may be longer when specific projects are due, some extended schedules will be necessary.

Our client is seeking someone that can bring the following skills to the company (located 20 miles north of Denver) and in return will be offered a great salary, benefits and continued growth potential.

  • A confident project manager with a construction background, ideally in architectural millwork
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management or equivalent time in industry
  • Must be a highly organized person who can monitor multiple projects at once and who can prioritize the workload of craftsmen laborers, subcontractors, and installation crews
  • Ability to define problems, interpret data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions that represent the company’s interests
  • Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community
  • Proficient in the use of Excel, Word, Outlook and other Office Suite software packages as deemed necessary. Ability to learn ERP systems or other CRM type software. Knowledge of estimating software required
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record
  • Communicator who can communicate thorough and up-to-date project information to both the client and the company
  • Desires to be a solution provider and the main point of contact on a project
  • Tech savvy
  • Organized, persistent and driven

Compensation offered:

  • Competitive base salary depending upon experience, $90,000 to $120,000
  • Medical and dental insurance, plus 401K with company match, PTO, paid holidays
  • Relocation assistance available for out of town/state candidates
