Residential Roofing Sales / Account Manager

Responsibilities of the Steep Slope Roofing Account Manager include:
- Follow up on leads as assigned
- Research prospects and existing customers for additional sales opportunities
- Meet with prospects and customers to discover needs, requirements, and objectives for the purpose of generating estimates and proposals
- Survey and inspect steep slope roofs to measure and quantify existing information
- Perform quantity take-offs to determine square foot and lineal foot measurement
- Generate estimates and proposals for steep slope roof projects
- Enter all sales related information into the CRM software application
- Complete tasks and assignments in a timely manner
- Follow up with prospects and customers via phone, email, and other forms of communication
- Manage subcontractor relationships for all projects as sold
- Generate bill of materials for projects to be ordered by Purchasing Manager
- Project manage all residential steep slope projects and assist with project management of commercial steep slope projects
Skills/Qualifications of the Steep Slope Roofing Account Manager include:
- 3-5 years of experience in steep slope roofing systems (shingles, slate, tile, and metal roof systems)
- Bachelor’s degree is preferred but not a requirement
- Proficiency in MS Office, specifically Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams
- Excellent written & oral communication, including listening
- Ability to be a team player and work in a fast-paced team environment
- Excellent time management and organizational skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines
- Ability to perform research on the Internet
- Ability to adapt to change and unforeseen issues, while maintaining professionalism
- Desire and interest in a challenging and rewarding career in the construction industry with a growing company
Requirements of the Steep Slope Roofing Account Manager include:
· Must have a valid driver’s license
· Must be able to safely climb ladders and work at heights (fall protection and safety equipment provided
· Must have steep slope roofing experience, primarily shingles. Experience with slate, tile, and metal roof systems is a plus
· Must be able to lift 40 pounds
· Be able to work extended hours per day and occasional weekends
