Business Development role for reputable and growing Commercial Roofing Contractor.

This position will work with senior sales personnel and internal business development team, marketing staff, and other managers to increase sales opportunities and maximize revenue. This company is a leading Commercial Roofing Contractor in the Washington, Idaho and Oregon markets.

Responsibilities of the Business Development role include:

Develop, update, maintain and execute an approved annual regional accounts territory sales plan that includes developing target account prospects, their sales cycle plans, their projected revenue, their projected decision dates, and their projected implementation/first service dates.
Create and maintain outstanding professional business relationships with key executive level decision making contact(s) and multiple/various coaches, implementers and influencers within current and prospective regional accounts.
Utilize consultative selling skills to learn about the prospect/customer’s business to position the Company's products and services as the answer to those needs, and to motivate and move the decision maker(s) to desired decisions, next actions, or next steps in the sales cycle.

This position will require someone to be comfortable with COLD Calling and attending association functions
The position will be measured by the number of leads they are bringing to the branch.
Includes an incentive for the deals that get closed (not involved with estimating and not required to explain the actual proposal)
Walk the customer through the entire process and capable of answering questions and updating them on status of project.
Develop dynamic and rewarding customer relationships.
Typical customer is property managers and real estate development companies.
Typical project is with existing buildings - no new construction, mostly re-roofs

Salary DOE from $50k - 75k plus bonuses.
ideal someone from the area and has contacts already.
Not necessary to have roofing in their background. But roofing background would be advantageous.
Experience working with other specialty divisions within construction is acceptable.
Must be technically savvy and understand Social Media Marketing components.
Software systems is the FCS system currently - using it to the fullest.
Ability to upload batches of contacts, keeping notes,
Position will require someone to work in the Seattle market.
