Die Cast Sales Manager

About the job

We are seeking an energetic, fast-paced and self-driven sales person to help us expand our die casting market in North America. Specifically, we are looking for an experienced sales person with both a technical and a sales background that enables him/her to drive engagement at all levels with technical and non-technical buyers. The ideal candidate is currently working at a die casting manufacturer and has a basic understanding of automotive parts and systems. The candidate must have a current and up to date customer base.


Key Responsibilities

Achieve revenue and profit goals by identifying opportunities and generating new business in the area of die castings, by identifying new clients, and upselling and cross-selling to existing clients.   

Maintain a robust sales pipeline.

Timely preparation of rates and quotes for customers.

Develop strong customer relationships and manage contract negotiations.

Actively work with customers and suppliers to solve any customer problems that may arise.

Able to close the sale.

Ensure customer satisfaction.

Develop long-term strategic relationships with key accounts.


Qualifications and Experience

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business or another related field. Several years of relevant experience will be recognized in lieu of a Bachelor’s degree.

5-10 years of direct B2B experience in selling die castings to large OEM customers.

Experience managing longer, complex sales cycles.

Proven written and oral communication skills.

Strong interpersonal, time management and organizational skills.

Self-motivated with an entrepreneurial spirit.

Demonstrated ability to develop relationships.

Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite.
