Director of Customer Service

Our client, a fabricator of commercial grade architectural wood doors is seeking a Director of Customer Service.  This person will be a strategic partner in the continuous improvement to delivery key service outcomes for their customers.  The role has significant responsibility and accountability for operational delivery and customer satisfaction.


The Director of Customer Service will be responsible for:

Identifying and developing performance improvements and efficiencies for the customer

Provide seamless communication both verbally and written to customers

Create and maintain a culture and process which achieve business goals and objectives with regards to customer service

Empower and engage customer service team (4)

Act as the voice of the customer across the organization

Efficiently and professionally address concerns with customers


Required Experience:

Demonstrated customer service, sales or project management success in the door & hardware/millwork industry preferred

Experience with door & hardware distributors, desired

Experience managing/supervising a customer service or sales team

Proven customer relationship experience

Demonstrated success of providing a solution along with excellent communication and negotiation skills

Able to adapt and succeed in a changing environment.
