Director of Sales - Foundry Capital Equipment

Job Location: 
Atlanta, GA

Responsibilities

Develop department budgets relative to new equipment and retrofit project sales.

Provide customers with prompt quotations for all products and services offered in the region.

Provide interface, market information and feedback to Product Management to ensure product competitiveness with scope of supply, features, functions, benefits & pricing.

Maintain a database tracking all sales related activities.

Work closely with the Product & Project Managers and Service Manager for machine delivery, installation, documentation, parts, and coordinate with Contractors and Customers on all aspects of the installation.

Assist customers with addressing questions regarding the products and service offering in the region via the phone, email and in person as required.

Training the sales team

Assist the sales team or customers on site when necessary.

Support the sales team with regards to technical questions, gaining necessary information.

Prepare monthly reports (financial and sales utilization).

Promptly respond to customers’ requests via e-mail, telephone or in person as required.

 

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in engineering, Business Administration or other relevant degree preferred

Previous experience working in or directly supporting the sales of capital equipment within the foundry industry

Experience with sales of large-scale projects and key account management on a regional level

Proven ability to design and create solutions that win customers and create long term partnerships

Ability to carry-out presentations to top level decision makers
