Freight Sales Executive

The Sales Executive develops sales/marketing action plans to maximize revenue, as well as provide customized business solutions for prospects and customers. This is a true hunter role. You will work from your own home office and are responsible for setting your own meetings and contacting your own customers. This is a commission only position and offers a strong sign on bonus.

Additional job duties include:

Organization and accomplishment of sales activities in a consistent with sales objectives
Maintain excellent communication with external and internal customers
Keep fully informed regarding competitor developments
Monitor market conditions, terminal and fleet growth
Adjust account sales approach to address latest market developments
Deliver exceptional account service to strengthen customer loyalty
Establish and quote pricing, credit, shipping tariffs, and transit times

Minimum Qualifications:

A bachelor’s degree in either sales, marketing or business or at least 5 years of comparable sales experience
Proven sales skills
Knowledge of the market
Knowledge of the TL Industry or the Heavy Haul Industry
