General Manager

The General Manager position is a senior-level role with ultimate responsibility of the company performance, its business installation, development and growth, ensuring the company strategy implementation, employee recruitment and client retention.



Due to the priority of the project as well as the responsibility towards the employees, clients and stakeholders, the GM is required to work on site

Representing the company

Leading, coaching, mentoring and motivating the workforce

Supervise and build teams, delegate responsibility and develop employee talents

Supporting the professional development of the employees

Provision of resources (procuring and providing funds established within framework and approved budgets including human and financial resources)

Managerial responsibility for the operative activity of the company

Representing the company both internally and externally

Dealing with licenses, know-how and patents

Market development and managing the operative sales business

Maintaining internal relations and ensuring information flow

Analyzing of cost comparisons, determination and negotiation of prices

Financial Budget control (drawing up of monthly, quarterly and annual accounts)

Securing the economic success commercially and in accordance with objectives set by the company

Identify operational performance measurements and company’s strategic direction

Analyze company performance

Ensure Company development including working out of strategies, action plans, business plans, investment plans, calculation of expected profitability, continuous improvement plans etc.

Ensuring implementation, compliance and adherence to guidelines, group instructions and regulations

Environmental protection, health and safety compliance

Organization and employee development, executing appropriate management principles including HR planning and policies




Minimum 10 years of experience in a plant/general manager role with significant launch and business development experience.

Must have a strong high pressure die cast background

Coming from the auto industry is a must.

Engineering degree or Excellent Leadership/management experience and skills

Planning and forecasting

High communication and negotiation skills

Effective decision making

Ability to delegate and motivate

Ability to interact with clients, staff, and top management 

Team player, building trust
