Provide professional-level Human Resources services to all levels within the organization, exercising leadership in assisting the company in achieving strategic business outcomes in a unique manufacturing environment.  This includes responsibilities in recruiting, compensation and benefits, communications, safety, employee relations, process and systems improvements, and appropriate metric development and analysis.

 

Essential Job Functions:

Create, endorse, communicate, and enforce company personnel policies, procedures, and practices on personnel matters

Administer Workers Compensation and all other associated reporting and case management

Work directly with departmental management to assist them in carrying out responsibilities on personnel matters

Recommend, evaluate, and participate in training and development for all employees

Will play a strategic role in the retention, recruitment, processing, and hiring of personnel

Will play an integral role in the administration of the salaried, hourly, and apprentice employees including but not limited to compensation and performance reviews

 

Job Requirements:

Bachelor’s in Business or equivalent required; Master’s Degree preferred

5-10 year of experience in an HR capacity within a manufacturing environment

Strong Technical knowledge of the entire HR function

Possess the ability to think strategically, be employee-focused, relational, and be a leader

PHR/SPHR certification preferred
