Responsible for the supervision of hourly workers for processing of all inbound materials, returns, re-work and the overall integrity of the products from dock to stock. The position will be the site’s leader for processing of all inbound materials working closely with Quality Assurance, Procurement and Customer Service. Additionally, the position will be a key part of the site leadership team and support the staff and other leaders with appropriate coverage, training, compliance and LEAN and continuous improvement efforts.


Responsibilities – Inventory/Warehouse Supervisor

Monitor and manage the daily workload of receiving and inspection dept.

Manage the returns department.

Responsible for inventory control from dock to stock

Coordinate all quality issues involving various purchased or produced finished goods. This includes rework requirements and individual part inspections and rejections.

Communicate effectively with Buyers, QA (SQEs), Suppliers, and Carriers.

Identify and track trends in returns and inventory control assist in LEAN and CI efforts.

Coordinate site’s labor with other Supervisors. Assign work tasks, prepare and schedule work to support the business. Backup other Supervisors as needed.

Support site safety and regulatory requirements.

Train Employees including skill tests for basic safety and Fork Truck operation & training.

Manage material inspections, holds, repairs, and re-work. Coordinate with other BRP sites regarding required material disposition.

Provide leadership for the site’s cycle count program


Requirements – Inventory/Warehouse Supervisor

Min of a bachelor’s degree in engineering or business-related field required.

2 years Warehouse or Manufacturing Manager / Supervisor or Lead or Project Lead Experience.

Inventory Control systems experience. Knowledge of SAP EWM, other WMS (Similar Software).

Exposure working within a structured QMS (Quality Management Systems) program.

Experience working within a formal company-wide safety program.

Demonstrated SPC and analytical problem-solving capabilities.

Exposure to LEAN and Project Management training and tools.

Proficient with MS Suite (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) as well as MS Project, Smart Sheets or project management software.

Leadership capability (scheduling, coordinating work, measuring and improving).

Experience working within a LEAN and ISO standards (or similar QA certification) helpful
