Maintenance Manager

Job Location: 
Menomonee Falls, WI

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

The Maintenance Manager is a hands-on position and is responsible for all planned maintenance activities, for packaging and preservation of equipment for availability of replacement parts for key manufacturing equipment, and for documenting, evaluating, and improving maintenance objectives.

 

Essential Functions:

A.  Maintenance/Machine Repair

   1. Electrical, electronic, hydraulic, mechanical and pneumatic troubleshooting and repair.

   2. Preventative maintenance.

   3. General building support and grounds.

B.  Maintenance/Supervision

   1.   Direction of daily maintenance activities and distribution of in house resources.

   2.   Scheduling, quoting and oversight of maintenance contract work and maintenance supplies.

   3.   Hiring, assessment, and development of maintenance personnel.

C.  Maintenance Support

    1.  Inventory control

    2.  CMMS/Mainboss implementation and control

    3.  Audits and Reporting

    4.  Development and implementation of predictive/preventative maintenance strategies.

D. Document Control

    1. Maintain departmental budgets and PM schedule.

    2. Update departmental KPI’s based off of machine downtime and open PM’s.

    3. Control Manufacturing scorecard to reflect maintenance cost and OEE’s especially in productivity.

    4. Ensure that all department work instructions are current.

 

Educational Requirements: 

Associate’s degree and 5 years related experience preferred.

Experience/Knowledge/Skills:

Previous Maintenance experience.

Previous Management experience preferred.

Previous experience Electrical, electronic, hydraulic, mechanical and pneumatic systems.

Experience with Maintenance Management Systems.
