If you want to grow your career and fill an important position, then you could be what our client is looking for in their Office Administrator.  This position will be responsible for the organization of company-sponsored events, and managing the inventory of office supplies.  This position will play an integral role in supporting our high level of internal customer service and strong organizational culture. The Office Administrator will provide administrative support, greet and direct visitors, and answer and respond to calls as needed. This position works cross-functional with several departments, including the Company’s Social Committee. This is a great opportunity with a respected and stable company that offers a competitive compensation package.  

 

Responsibilities

Manages formal internal communications activities such as employee newsletters, quarterly town halls and responsible for the organization of Company-sponsored activities and functions
Managing the inventory of kitchen & office supplies; requests for supply purchases
Assistance with outgoing mail
Oversee the company’s Social Committee
Manage office furniture needs
Assist with departmental project support
Track and stock office/kitchen supplies, placing orders when necessary
Coordinate office activities and operations to secure efficiency and compliance to company policies
Manage agendas/travel arrangements/appointments/lunches etc. for upper management
Manage phone calls and correspondence (e-mail, letters, packages etc.)
Receive and distribute incoming mail and process/drop off outgoing mail
Schedule courier pickups as needed
Maintain company out of office calendars and appointments for conference rooms
Greet, log, and direct all visitors

Job Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree preferred or equivalent work experience
1-2 years event planning experience, and must have worked in an office environment
Strong written and oral communication; ability to communicate at all levels, including Executive Management
Enjoys working with people, both individually and team settings
Proven ability to take initiative and work independently
Robust organization and prioritization skills, capacity to manage multiple priorities
