Responsibilities

  • Reading and analyzing daily reports, production schedules, and other records to determine production requirements and to evaluate current production estimates and outputs, as well as, detect production capacity problems that could result in late deliveries.
  • Approving purchasing requisitions in order to maintain budget awareness.
  • Leading monthly employee meetings and other meetings as required or assigned.
  • Working with all divisions to promote best practices and company teamwork.
  • Responsible for the timely completion of the annual production performance reviews   for direct reports and their overall teams.
  • Actively participates in ECR meetings and follows up on customer requests with sales and engineering.
  • Leads and actively participates in production meetings as scheduled.
  • Participates in and promotes the daily Gemba walks, Visual Management and TPM efforts, as well as, encouraging those participating in these areas.  
  • Develops annual capital equipment plans.
  • Serves as Process Owner and/or internal auditor as needed to support the on-going compliance to the Quality Management System.
  • Reviews P&L statements, order summaries, daily manufacturing reports, and other internal reports for divisional performance and make necessary adjustments to achieve company goals and metrics.
  • Responsible for knowing, following and enforcing all environmental, health and safety rules, policies, and procedures for the plant and takes responsibility to assure that personal work activity is conducted in such a way so as to not affect the safety of themselves or others.

 

Requirements

  • Requires training in vocational schools, related on-the-job experience, or an associate's degree
  • Must have previous management experience and proven ability to lead a facility
  • The preferred candidate will have die cast industry experience.
