Job Responsibilities-Regulatory Compliance Specialist:

Keep current on regional and local regulatory requirements with emphasis on USA, Canada, Europe, and Asia

Maintain Prop 65 and VOC information

Manage Regulatory Calendar, follow-up with intradepartmental regulatory action items

Maintain files and registrations for EPA, FDA, and DIN registered products

Work with Regulatory Manager to conduct required regulatory employee training

Work with consultants and R&D to create domestic and international SDS

Maintain WERCS database

Prepare formula disclosures for regulatory officials and customers

Maintain and update Poison Control data and files

Maintain Kosher registered products and Kosher chemicals

Determine labeling requirements for domestic and international products

Determine proper classification and labeling requirements of hazardous shipments

Maintain tariff classification and NAFTA documentation for all products

File all necessary SDA permits and reports

Provide Tier II reports to state and local agencies

Work with Regulatory Manager, R&D and Compliance teams to ensure FDA establishment and regulated products meet cGMP and FDA requirements


Job Requirements-Regulatory Compliance Specialist

·2-5 years of experience working in a regulatory environment

Proven experience with research, interpretation and implementation of industry standards and regulations

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Strong analytical and technical writing skills in a professional environment

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills in electronic and paper applications

Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access

Ability to excel in a dynamic and collaborative work environment
