Responsible for providing strategic and tactical leadership for the sales of company’s air filter product lines in an effort to achieve increased market share, customer service, and profit objectives. Responsible for customer service and sales activities related to conceptualizing and implementing market strategies, new product development, design engineering support, and achieving sales targets, increased levels of customer satisfaction and financial performance.  KEY RESPONSIBILITIES- Sales Manager-Air Filtration

Provide market analysis and recommendations to achieve sales growth.

Work, maintain, and report on monthly, quarterly, and annual sales and bookings results.

Prepare and execute presentations for various audiences to effectively communicate current and future sales strategies.

Responsible for marketing and sales efforts for the air filter product lines. This includes but is not limited to branding, trade show presence, customer visits, and social media.

Ensure all marketing communications are coordinated, support marketing plan objectives, and are an effective expenditure of resources.

Develop and maintain strong relations with customers through consistent contact and follow-up.

Establish sales objectives by forecasting and developing sales quotes for various regions; projecting expected sales volume and profits for existing and new products.

Maintain sales volume, product mix, and selling price by keeping current with supply and demand, changing trends, economic indications, and competitors.

Take ownership of product line metrics and ensure activity and performance goals are consistently and adequately achieved.

Identify sales trends and develop plans to continuously improve sales performance.

Provide technical support on product selection and application.

Domestic travel requirements up to 35%

 

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS- Sales Manager-Air Filtration

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.

5+ years of previous Sales management experience required.

Previous experience and success with OEM as well as distributor sales.

Experience in the air filter industry highly desired.

Must possess excellent communication skills (written and verbal).

Build and manage internal and external collaborative relationships.

Strong, effective negotiation and deal-closing skills required.

Ability to work independently, be self-motivated, prioritize and execute work activities.

Must be effective at resolving problems and handling stressful situations in a professional, timely manner.

Results-driven with an entrepreneurial spirit.
