Responsibilities – Sanitation Supervisor-3rd Shift: Flexible 4 days/week schedule

Lead team members engaged in activities to ensure that plant operations meet mandatory sanitation requirements for machinery, equipment and facilities during 3rd shift hours
Responsible for delivering positive business results through a team oriented approach
Supervises 3rd shift sanitation by observing all company policies, food safety, and team member safety practices and regulatory requirements
Maintains Key Performance Indicators, work instructions and verification of Sanitation Standard Operating procedures (SSOP’s) for all production related activities 
Controls Sanitation Master schedule for periodic equipment cleaning, and maintains facility and equipment in an “audit ready” condition
Investigates non-conformance issues, team member accidents, and assists in the identification of root cause and implementation of corrective actions

 

Requirements – Sanitation Supervisor

Bachelor’s degree in a related scientific field preferred
3+ years of leadership experience within food manufacturing environment 
Bilingual (English-Spanish) is preferred
Working knowledge of USDA, FDA, SQF, and OSHA regulations
Excellent communication skills, and ability to train others in the proper sanitation techniques operation of manufacturing equipment
Must be available to work both weeknights and weekend nights. Schedule may very and be flexible but includes overnight work hours
Must be able to lift 40 pounds occasionally and work in a cold environment (38-40 degrees)
