Job Description

Has responsibility for the oversight of all Personal Trust administration activities (On-going Fiduciary and Post-Death Administration). Develops and implements Personal Trust Department objectives, policies, and procedures, as well as furnishing overall supervision and coordination of the personal trust administration activities of the department in conjunction with Personal Trust Compliance. Reviews and contributes in decision to accept or reject potential personal trust accounts. Analyzes personal trust instruments to determine duties and responsibilities of the company. Administers special personal trust accounts, especially those of a delicate or complex nature. Confers with Personal Trust Relationship Managers, co-trustees, beneficiaries, attorneys, and others regarding accounts as appropriate. Directs the set-up, implementation, and administration of personal trusts and possibly estates. Acts as a technical expert to Wealth Advisory Group team regarding personal trust and estate planning issues. This position will be responsible for training Personal Trust Associates in all regions. This individual will be a standing member on the Personal Trust Compliance and New Account Acceptance committees.


Required Skills

Bachelor’s degree in Business or related discipline; JD preferred. Must have 10 or more years of personal trust administration experience. Strong trust compliance, fiduciary and regulatory knowledge essential. Periodic travel to each of the regions will be required.
