We specialize in the drayage industry and are currently looking for a person who will not only take care of our great current employees, but go out and locate phenomenal individuals to join our team.  As a Sr. Recruitment Manager you will be heading up our recruiting team and be accountable for managing the life cycle of a subhauler or independent owner operator recruit’s experience with us from initial contact through the length of the onboarding process. Continuous communication with current drivers and arriving candidates is vital to growing our reach, and by extension, our fleet.

 

Job Qualifications:

Understanding of sales strategy within the recruiting cycle
Ability to collaborate with and influence other divisions, drivers and executives alike
High aptitude for learning new business markets and custom software
Ability to sort, filter and articulate large quantities of information into simple easy to comprehend conversations
Robust negotiating skills
Confident engaging communicator who is able to establish a long-lasting relationship quickly
Ability to form and nurture relationships to provide recruits a contact and a source from first contact forward.
Strong written communication skills via text, email and mass communication tools
High levels of emotional acumen with ability to counsel/coach individuals to impact relationships between driver and dispatch teams

 

Responsibilities:

Report progress and status weekly to executive, management and dispatch teams
Manage Hiring workflow Manage driver recruiting cycle from first contact through onboarding
Support dispatch team by managing driver relationships, experience and expectations
Manage recruiting and roster database
Maintain close contact with dispatch teams to anticipate operational needs
Use relationships with drivers to spread messaging and receive competition intelligence
Train drivers thoroughly on dispatch procedures and train other trainers
Interface with drivers daily/weekly and facilitate communication breakdowns and opportunities
Manage a team of 2-3 people to handle recruiting, onboarding and FMCSA compliance responsibilities
Provide support for payment issues and discrepancies between contractors and
