VP of Operations

The Vice President of Operations is an executive management position that plans, develops, organizes, implements, directs and evaluates company operations function and performance.



Provide oversight and successfully prepare and execute an annual company operating business plan, which includes driving profitable annual revenue growth; executing strategies for existing and prospective clients; engaging in effective marketing campaigns; overseeing and monitoring the annual budget; monitoring measurable deliverable key performance indicators;

Ensuing existing employee retention programs are implemented and adhered to; incrementally increasing team with key employees that will be able to add value and intrinsically enhance the existing talent pool;

Demonstrable and proven success in a leadership role within a similar capacity; ability to lead, train, mentor and coach teams;

Proven success in a business development capacity, essential;

Ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with executive management teams, departmental managers, sales teams, service teams, employees on all levels, clients and 3rd party vendors;

Meet and exceed corporate and personal goals and objectives; develop, improve and implement company policies and procedures;

Ability to meet deadlines in a timely manner, multi-task effectively and possess exemplary time management skills;

Work with various departments to provide accurate and timely workload pipeline, which includes secured business status reports, project execution updates and projection status reports on a regular basis;

Review contractual agreements; determine equipment required for each project;

Provide and maintain a safe working environment; ensure company is adhering to state, federal and local regulatory legislation, policies and procedures.



Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Electrical Engineering, or a similar related discipline;

At least 5 years’ experience in a similar role (preferred);

Experience within the electrical construction industry, necessary;

Exemplary written and oral communication skills, necessary;

Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite of products.
